Extract tables from a PDF straight into an editable Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheet, so you can sort, filter, or recalculate numbers instead of retyping them by hand. This works best on PDFs with clear, grid-like tables (invoices, price lists, financial statements) — PDFs that are scanned images, or that lay out data without visible table borders, may not extract cleanly, since table detection depends on recognizable table structure.
Each detected table becomes its own sheet in the resulting spreadsheet, named by page and table number, which keeps multiple tables from a multi-page PDF clearly separated rather than jumbled together on one sheet — a small detail that matters a lot once you're actually working with the extracted data.
How to use it
- Upload the PDF file that contains the table(s) you want to extract.
- Click Convert to Excel and wait while it detects and extracts tables.
- Download the .xlsx file — each detected table becomes its own sheet.
- Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice Calc to edit the data.

Why didn't it detect any tables in my PDF?
Table detection relies on recognizable grid structure — PDFs that are scanned images, or that lay out data without visible table borders/alignment, are much harder to detect reliably. Clear, grid-lined tables (invoices, price lists) work best.
What if my PDF has multiple tables across several pages?
Each detected table becomes its own sheet in the output spreadsheet, named by page and table number, so multiple tables stay clearly separated rather than merged together.
Will the numbers be editable, or just an image?
