About this tool

Add your signature to a PDF without printing, signing on paper, and scanning it back in. Draw your signature with your mouse or finger, or upload a photo of your handwritten signature, then click directly on a preview of the PDF page to place it exactly where you want. This works well for signing contracts, agreement forms, and letters β€” for high-stakes legal documents, check whether your recipient requires a certified e-signature service instead.

This tool places a visual signature image onto the page β€” it doesn't add cryptographic signing metadata the way a certified e-signature platform (like DocuSign) does, so it's best suited for everyday documents where a visible signature is what's actually needed, rather than documents requiring legally certified digital signature verification.

How to use it

  1. Upload the PDF you need to sign.
  2. Choose the page (it defaults to the last page, where signatures usually go).
  3. Draw your signature on the pad, or upload a photo/scan of it.
  4. Click on the page preview to place the signature, then adjust its size with the slider.
  5. Click Add Signature to PDF and download the signed file.

Example uses

  • Sign a rental agreement or freelance contract before sending it back.
  • Add your signature to a permission slip or authorization letter.
  • Sign an invoice or quote before emailing it to a client.
  • Countersign a document that was already partially signed by someone else.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a legally certified digital signature?

No β€” this places a visual signature image on the page, without cryptographic signing metadata. For documents that legally require a certified e-signature, use a dedicated certified e-signature platform instead.

Can I sign any page, not just the last one?

Yes β€” a page selector lets you choose any page in the document; it defaults to the last page since that's the most common signature location.

Do I have to draw my signature, or can I upload one?

Either works β€” draw it directly with your mouse or finger, or upload a photo/scan of your actual handwritten signature.
