About this tool

Generate a scannable QR code for any link, plain text, email address, phone number, or Wi-Fi network, and optionally embed your own logo in the center β€” most other free QR generators either don't offer a logo at all or lock it behind a paid plan. We use a high error-correction level so the code still scans reliably even with a logo overlaid on top. Pick a custom foreground color to match your brand, then download a print-ready PNG.

The content-type presets do more than just format the text box β€” choosing Email automatically wraps your address so scanning the code opens the phone's email app directly (instead of just displaying plain text), and choosing Wi-Fi builds a proper network-credential QR code that lets a phone join the network with one scan, without anyone having to type the password. This kind of small formatting detail is often the difference between a QR code that actually works well in practice and one that just displays raw text.

How to use it

  1. Choose a content type: Website URL, Plain Text, Email, Phone, or Wi-Fi.
  2. Type or paste the corresponding text (link, address, number, or network name/password).
  3. Optionally pick a custom color and upload a logo image.
  4. Click Generate β€” the QR code renders instantly with your logo centered.
  5. Download the PNG and test-scan it with your phone before printing or publishing.

Example uses

  • A restaurant menu QR code with the restaurant's own logo in the middle.
  • A business card QR code linking to a portfolio site, in the brand's signature color.
  • An event flyer QR code linking to a registration form.
  • A Wi-Fi QR code posted at a cafe or Airbnb so guests can connect without typing a password.

Frequently asked questions

Will the logo make the QR code unscannable?

No β€” the code is generated at a high error-correction level specifically so a centered logo doesn't break scanning, as long as the logo isn't larger than the built-in size limit.

Is embedding a logo really free here?

Yes. Many competing free QR generators put logo embedding behind a paid plan; on this site it's included at no cost.

What's the difference between the Wi-Fi and Plain Text options?

Plain Text encodes exactly what you type as-is. Wi-Fi builds a special QR format phones recognize as network credentials, so scanning it offers to join the network directly instead of just showing text.
