Overlay with a managed service

AccessVane vs AudioEye

AudioEye pairs an overlay with a paid remediation service and human testing. The service part is real work. The overlay part has the same limits as every other overlay.

What is on the public record

  • Sold as a subscription, typically well above the price of a plugin.
  • The managed tier includes human testing, which automation genuinely cannot replace.
  • The automated layer is still an overlay: it runs in the visitor's browser and leaves your pages unchanged.

In fairness to AudioEye

If you want somebody else to own the whole problem and have budget for it, a managed service is a legitimate choice, and human testing is worth paying for. Just know which part of the bill is the overlay.
