Duplicate regions with no distinguishing label

landmark-uniqueOur plugin repairs this

The page has two or more areas of the same type, for example two navigation menus, with nothing telling them apart.

Who this affects

Screen reader users hear "navigation" twice with no way to know which is the main menu.

Fix it in WordPress

Register each menu location with a distinct label in the theme, or set the aria-label in the Navigation block's settings.

What the fix is, technically

Give each one an aria-label, such as "Main menu" and "Footer menu".

Or let the plugin do it

This is one of the failures AccessVane can repair for you. It changes the pages your server actually sends, not a script layered on top, and switching the repair off puts everything back exactly as your theme had it.
