Text is too faint against its background

color-contrastOur plugin repairs this

Some text does not stand out enough from the colour behind it, so it is hard or impossible to read.

Who this affects

Anyone with low vision or colour blindness, older visitors, and everyone reading on a phone in sunlight.

Fix it in WordPress

Most of these come from the theme's global colours, not individual pages. Fix them once in Appearance → Editor → Styles (block themes), Customizer → Colors (classic themes), or Elementor → Site Settings → Global Colors. Fixing the palette usually clears dozens of instances at once.

What the fix is, technically

Normal text needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background. Large text (24px, or 19px bold and above) needs 3:1. Darken the text or lighten the background until it passes.

Or let the plugin do it

This is one of the failures AccessVane can repair for you. It changes the pages your server actually sends, not a script layered on top, and switching the repair off puts everything back exactly as your theme had it.
