Buttons with no readable label

button-nameOur plugin repairs this

Some buttons show only an icon, with no text explaining what they do.

Who this affects

Screen reader users hear only "button" and cannot tell what will happen if they press it.

Fix it in WordPress

Common culprits are the mobile menu toggle, search toggle, and cart icon. Most themes offer a screen-reader-text span for these; if yours does not, add aria-label in the template or via the plugin's label repair.

What the fix is, technically

Add visible text inside the button, or an aria-label if the design must stay icon-only.

Or let the plugin do it

This is one of the failures AccessVane can repair for you. It changes the pages your server actually sends, not a script layered on top, and switching the repair off puts everything back exactly as your theme had it.
